Allen Iverson gets his own Zune too

(Credit: Zune Insider)

Joy Division isn't the only one that's trying to get the timing just right for a special-edition Zune. Allen Iverson's people are apparently hoping to do the same with their own exclusive version of Microsoft's media player now that his Denver Nuggets have barely secured the last spot in the NBA playoffs.

An etching of the superstar will appear on the back of a limited-edition 8GB Zune packaged with a pair of Reebok shoes called the "Answer XI Zune," according to CrunchGear. Weird.

Only 60 of these special bundles will be sold at a yet-unknown price, but that may be plenty if the Nuggets don't make it past the first round. (What is it about Zunes and shoes, anyway?)

I got my blackberry through verizon a month ago. I chose silver because the pink one is harder to see with the pink/gray color scheme as apposed to the silver/black. First thing i did was install the software on the computer...which took FOREVER (10 min). The software really doesnt allow you to do anything useful unless you use outlook to sync the bb with (which i dont). I was hoping at the least have just a single option to enter contacts into your phone using the software on the computer. That would have been really convenient because most who get a new bb who have never had one before have a hard time adjusting to the keyboard durring the first few days.
Speaking of typing, the keys are a bit small which i dont mind but they could be raised up a little more. I was impressed with the sure type. Very happy to see that it was able to be edited.
The themes are neat. I wish the themes were fully customizable where you can mix and match features.
I love that you can use regular headphones in the jack.
Would love to be able to see the screen at all times instead of it going completely dim.

For some reason or another, when i got the phone, the sales rep at the store told me i would have to reset the phone once a week by taking the battery out. You will know when you forget, the phone will act up by locking up and being s...l..o...w. I never got a reason this happens in the first place.
The phone itself feels a little cheap. When uyou hold it, the back cover kinda slides when it is in place making you wonder how secure it really is.
About once a week, the connection fails. Even after I take out the battery, i will be unable to send or receive messages or connect to the web. This is my biggest grype. It will also delete my messages without notice!!! I have had to call in twice now and get them to fix it. Luckily it was over the air but those messages are forever lost.
The help program is barely helpful. Its so basic that it has never helped me.

For being a productivity device, I am suprised to see the lack of options available when it comes to taking/editing pictures. I am sadened because the pictures are washed out most times. If there are not many options for taking the pictures, at least put an editing option in there so you can correct their lack of quality. I'd constantly use contrasting and saturation.

The calander could have a more attractive interface. maybe allow users to see an event in the monthly view instead of a barely boldened number.

Battery life is ok. I am tired of phones becomming more and more advanced yet battery life remains the biggest dissapointment of all phones. I'd like to have a phone with all these features and not have to plug it in every other day. Someday.
