A flash drive duplicator for secret missions

It's not entirely clear to us why one would want to duplicate 11 flash drives at once, but that's exactly what Aleratec's "1:11 USB Copy Tower" will do. The $1,575 box is a standalone device that requires no computer, according to Slippery Brick, which is probably a good thing if you're in a hurry to copy top-secret documents before security finds out. You can monitor progress on a backlit LCD to see how much time is left before you need to beat a hasty retreat out the window and rappel down the side of the building. And in case you do get caught, it's good to remember that the tower can erase 11 flash drives as well, also simultaneously.

I have heard (on BOL) that at least one band is now selling recordings of concerts on flash drive immediately after the concert finishes. Since they would need to duplicate a lot very quickly to pull that off, I imagine that a device like this is used to make those copies. Either that or you could use it and a couple cheap vendor-gift USB drives as a customizable pegboard to hang your coats on. Need to hang another coat? Just stick another drive in!

Companies could use this to put a common ghost image in a 2 GB flash drive and send it out to all of their field employees eliminating the need for slow and expensive shipping costs just to re-image a machine.
