Images: A room with a Google Street View

When Google launched its Street View feature earlier this week, it instantly became a new favorite way to waste time, with people around the country spending countless hours perusing the maps, looking for their houses, their offices and more. Given that the photographers took pictures at random times in several cities, they were bound to capture some interesting shots.

CNET News.com asked readers to send in their favorite images from the service, and many responded. Here, Frank Chu--who for years has been known to San Francisco residents for walking around town in a suit carrying a sign displaying odd astrophysical phrases--is seen in front of Willie Mays Plaza at the city's baseball stadium.
